I thought the numbers on the scoreboard at the end of the day, were the only real numbers worth worrying about?

I don't know why you say well done to the young fella. Typical young punk with no respect for their elders.

confirmed - haha
1st year at club and week before wore a different number anyway

Good game of footy but the scenes after the final siren were disgraceful.

Agree it was indeed a good game. However, the after siren was an incident which could have been avoided. I think that the Amateur league should really look into this incident and see if there was anything that instagated it.. I dont believe our player would have gotten that fired up over nothing as i know him personally.. And to the bloke that stated above that he lost his cool because he was out played or whatever i suggest you actually learn the facts of what was alleged before you come on here and type that sort of crap.. If the allegations are true it is something for the player in question to be very ashamed of and also something that the North Haven Football Club should be asshamed of

I agree that this is a very serious situation and should be treated accordingly, the Haven player that these accusations are directed at would be with no exaggeration the last person I would expect these claims to be aimed out considering his family and he is personally very upset about it.
Also this is the second time North Haven have played Woodville South this year and the second time this WS player has thrown his guernsey on the ground and threatened to attack NH players.

I will say that the free kick wasnt the reason we lost though. If you lose by a point with 4 extra scoring shots you have nobody to blame but yourself. I do believe that for 2 1/2 quarters we probably were the better side, but plymptons movement of the footy was better than ours during crucial stages, particularly when the pressure was on.

Whilst it was dissapointing to lose on sat, we can be very proud of our efforts. Considering the last 2 outings down at plympton have resulted in 10+ goal beltings for us, we can take some sort of confidence from last week into lockleys and hopefully come away with a win.

On a final note, i thought it was good form by the plympton supporters to congratulate us on our efforts after the game as we were walking into the rooms. They sure do have a bit to say behind the goals during the game but was a fine gesture i thought.

Incorrect.

Was paid to B Middlin who was sent off with the blood rule, J Smith was the closest plympton player to the contest and as such took the kick.

But never EVER let the facts get in the way tho.

I will inform Jim that next time he takes a kick that he must do it with the biggest dirtiest frown that he can possibly muster.

Yeah he is a quality player. Obviously got my player wrong which jabber eluded to regarding that last free. Both he and vanders didnt have an impact on saturday which was a great effort from our defenders. Would have been a top notch game to watch as a neutral observer.

Mate, dont listen to a word that comes out of nicole's mouth....

The player was abused...but his race definitely had nothing to do with what was said. I guess the disappointing thing after the siren was that the only woodville south person who was trying to stop it from escalating was their runner. Could of got very ugly.

I have read the last few pages. And this is all I'll say about it and this is 100 % truth.

On saturday North Haven player 24 tackled player 3 from W.S. after the whistle ( nothing silly just held him up ). Tackle was meant to upset number 3 as Haven were more than aware of his talents and wanted his mind off the game. scuffle broke out which was the desired affect. player 24 kept telling 3 how his mind was now off the game and kept grinning at him to which W.S. player 3 ran off and called him a 'white dog'. 24 was not the least bit fussed. However Haven's Ruckman heard the abuse and told the woody sth player "Imagine what would happen if he called you the opposite of that!"
Later in the Game Haven Player #3 was called a white c#*t by the same Woody sth player (number 3).
in the last quarter on the coaches side of the ground the same woodville sth player was involved in a contest where he raised the elbow and made intentional contact with Haven player 29. The Haven player ran over to the wwody sth player and grabed him by the jumper and yelled "keep ya fu**ing elbows down." immediately Woody sth did the smart thing and removed the player from the field and told him to "calm down son" as the player was clearly getting frustrated. After the game woody sth player flipped calling player 29 a 'white dog C**t.' then people from the sideline possibly relatives/friends began to get involed in the Haven huddle, screaming abuse at Haven supporters and players and officials. One of the Haven players wives was called a Fu**king Convict! One of woody sth player's team mates tried to console him (Rammah) but player 3 from woody sth pushed him away and continued frustrations.

I dont believe this should be a poor reflection on either club. But if there was any racial abuse, well I know it wasnt coming from Haven. Now if anyone has other information, thats fine, but what has been written here is absolute truth, and if it is challenged, your either full of shit and stirring or werent at the game

Must admit what I previously wrote all happened during the game and I only heard abuse after the game from woody sth player and some supporters. And I did not hear what started the "after game" incident, but Im glad steve, that you said it was nothing racial.

Im not doubting what u said. i only knew what i had been told had happened.. I wouldnt have thought that the player in question would have been that angry for no reason. Hes not the type of kid and also the parents must have heard it also. Our boundary apparently heard number 29 say something and placed him on report as i believe. They are the facts... I believe it will be deeply investigated by the SAAFL and if there is anything wrong then the person should be punished accordingly.
