Stop speaking so much sense mate! :D

Just told they had a round table with the players and committee last night to give the players a chance to air their concerns, spill their guts etc., allegedley the players had very little to say.

No doubt emotions are running high, now is the time the heads of the club face the players supporters and the likes give their reasons get the feedback and TRY to get the ship back on track.

John was not even allowed to address the players Ian. It's a joke! All they needed to do was show him some respect in the way they handled everything and it would have been alright! Let's just say there's 5 players gone atleast, and that's including a couple of the guns of the lockleys side

I'd be very surprised to see anyone leave this year as the boys down there are very tight knit. I believe they will finish this season together (however I could be very wrong). However I would say next season there could be a big problem for Lockleys FC. There was talk of many players that had left the club in the last couple of years returning. You would now think that is highly unlikely. I am under the understanding (speaking to a senior player) although I stand to be corrected as I am not involved in the club that John was given 2 opportunities. He was asked to get to the club early tuesday night and knew nothing about what was to proceed. Option 1. Step down as senior coach and address the playing group saying he was stepping down or Option 2. Be sacked immediately and therefore not have an opportunity to address the players. I believe he chose option 2. As said this is only what has been told to me by a trusted source. If this is not the case do not shoot ther messenger. The Lockley boys are all great boys and wish them all the best for the rest of the season and beyond whatever decisions they may make.

Mark Naley's Facebook status post last night:

Never again will I help another football club. I'm now officially in retirement. Thankyou and goodbye.

Pretty much sums up how he feels about it.

Under normal coach sackings I would agree. This is not player driven nor player approved so I doubt it will happen. Div 7 in 2013 I think

Surely it cant be good to lose a person of Mark Naley's football brain. Had a mate who went and played this year for lockleys. he is not the most talented player but spoke very highly of the coaching staff. dare say he will back out to his old club very soon.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.
