Captain Cordial, do you just jump on anybody's meatloaf.
Thanks for that indepth reply, I am now much wiser. How in the hell did meatloaf get a mention? Are you talking the edible (that means you can eat it) meatloaf or the big fella that wears a dress that reckons he can sing variety.
You missed everything.. Ya tripper.. I was referring to a muscle you make love with.

No-body wanted to stay at wingfield. and the ones that did said last year on GF night they weren't staying becuase hole chip shot incident.

On the self-desructing theory at Ovingham. 53 registered players with more players signing up each week. 18 better then average players not selected every week. When you have a decent arguement get back to me... So I can also shoot it down in a blaze of fire.

Things are looking up to me.

How many original Ovingham players 1/ are getting a game

2/ have left the club

Is that considered to be a fair question? If your numbers are correct, why didn't the club nominate another team, that to me would have been a sensible thing to do and why would you continue to sign players if they are not getting a game, the place is not big enough to swing a cat so what do they all do, hang around outside the loo's or something?

Heres ome facts for you Captain Courageous my hero that knows not alot about alot. From the Ovingham GF Squad last year. 7 players still get regular games this year. 3 got clearances cos they thought the training was to hard. 2 come out and trained but had other commitments and not one of the other 10 players on that list have turned up to a single training session.

Ovingham last week fielded 8(2 originally from Ovingham) players that played for wingfield last season. 2 come accross from Gepps Cross B&C Grade, 4 players from Unley A grade, Goodwood B Grade and Country football..

Theres the answer to your questions. quick wrap up. 13 have left the club(10 of which never showed up this year) and the rest are happy staying at Ovingham FC. Thanks for nothing.

bubbula, here are the real facts that you might like to digest re 2006, gepps cross b grade. 1. mattie newman, had a 1 on 1 meeting with me early in year and said no one in the b grade liked him and wouldnt kick to him. told him that was silly, however he said he would prefer to play c grade with his relatives . disappointed as i was he did so and i feel he will never reach the potential he undoubtably had by making that decision. 2) cooke, when asked to do a preseason said yes would love to play a grade. came a couple of times had a sore knee and fell away. rang me day of victor harbor camp and said he would play c grade if his knee stood up to it. once again disappointed he didnt try harder to play b grade. 3)mick obrien, started in b grade was enjoying himself, had to work later 1 saturday so played c grade, broke his leg and never played again in 2006. 4)josh murphy, 17 year old with life problems tried to assist him in more than footy. knew everything didnt want to do an apprenticeship in b"s so went to play u18 and c grade. no loss, where is he now? 5)clinton payne, was asked everyweek for the first five weeks to play b grade, had a bad back given geppies great service, so i let him play c grade all year which was his preference. no doubt costing the b grade a finals chance. 6)scott hurrell, was asked to train and play b grade after being best player in c"s first couple of games. said no thanks cos he wasnt fit enough. after big argument with chris newman decided to make himself available to play b grade. played well the last half of 2006. 7) the rest of that group wouldnt have improved the b grade in 2006.we missed finals action by 1 game plus % and lost several games by less than 8 points. 8) my b grade coaching philosophy at three clubs was to teach kids who might play a grade footy, not to fill up with has beens or never beens who would never make div 1 footy. 9) chris newman also told players not to go up to b grade but stay in the c"s and win a flag. good club spirit that. 10) he also told people at hope valley after thrashing them not to feel too bad as his side would beat the b grade. what a joke. 11) these are the facts hope it clears up a few things for you, and my conscience is very clear as b grade coach of gepps cross football club in the five years i did the job. you now know who i am why dont you come out and disclose who you are?

Im Matty Laird... lol.. I trained with you hopeless pack of louts for 2 weeks and didnt get a look in.. I had twice to skill and potential of half your side..
