That early? I think he would have kicked about 11-12 for the game.

Golden Grove got up by 106 points.

So kilburn can pump west croydon by 15 goals one week and get flogged by about the same a week later...

This is why you cant take much from trials...lol

I don't know much about Golden Grove, or about the availability of their first-team personnel, but they were clean and direct with the pill for the most part.

Yeah but don't forget WC are in Div 6, GG are in Div 3. Big difference.

Well yes, thanks captain obvious but I mean it still doesn't give any indication on what they're going to be like in div 4, does it?

I think the best indication of how you'll go for the year is after round 18

Hope Valley couldn't get within 100 points of GG last year, does that mean they're on par with them then? :-P

Personally I think gg are miles ahead of where we were last year. As we need to be. Don't know what other sides have done or are doing, but we've trained harder than before and worked more on structure so we are ready for round 1, albeit in round .2. Kilburn showed glimpses, and I think will be solid in 4s.

where do people have mictham finishing this year? We played them on saturday and it looked like they might lack a bit of depth possibly? their top end players were fantastic and they have some big boys running around but seemed to me like the level dropped away pretty quick after their top 10-15 players. Is that about where they were last year?

Did anyone keep the score? We play them round 1

I think it was more about how good CLG were. Based upon how they played the big 'Panther Park' oval they are better than Div 5/

Has allot to do with the fact it was just a trial game, both teams would of been happy with a hitout and neither club getting any serious injuries

It was exactly that Jake, infact i don't think anyone was keeping score and both clubs would of been happy with the hitout as it was a good final trial leading up to the season. Drew Lister up forward for Mitcham is going to create headaches for for a lot of backmen this year.

I know our boys are itching to go. Sitting out last weekend sucked!
