Also, how long since someone has won a medal at 3 different clubs?

I’m thinking maybe that’s 4?

Pretty sure he won 2 Div 1 medals at TTG .... 2015 on his own and tied with Alex McKay in 2016

One at Salisbury West in U18s too

Gepps Cross - Stephen Tahana13 votes, 2nd place
Hope Valley - Josh Hand - 17 votes, 1st place but Min might pinch votes back half when he kicks bags. 11 votes, 4th place
Kilburn - Corey Solly Think he polled 2 votes, Galbraith with 6. Galbraith their most consistent mid so not surprised but thought his mouth might've hurt his vote chances
Mitcham - Simon Tucker 7 votes, 11th - also thought Harrison pride was pretty good.
Morphettville Park - Dane Thompson 8 votes, equal 9th
Pembroke OS - Connors 9 votes, equal 7th- but Pengelly was good in the other games I watched 12 votes, 3rd place, and Forster is loved by umpires. Worrall was also exceptional against us. 9 votes, 6th place
Pulteney - Josh Giddings 3 votes, still running
SMOSH West Lakes - Sam Fairclough - best player in the comp. biggest disappointment for the night.. but certainly surprised.
Walkerville - I was too busy drinking and drowning my sorrows, didn't bother assisting for this game.
Woodville South - Kids birthday this day so didn't stick around.

Think Pembroke were a dominant side, and had good spread of players, this should reflect in the count. Similar with Hope Valley.

Solly & Giddings play key position and those types generally don't get much love.

My money would be on Fairclough and Tahana to battle it out.. 13 votes enough to win it.well I was wrong, Tahana got the 13 votes but lost to Hand on 17.

Leigh Danaher or Jason Westley to win the D4R.. Ben Disher an outside chanceWrong again.. had considered Wagner but thought being a HFF he would only poll in maybe 3 of the 6 games at best.

Also cant believe I didn't consider Paul Spilios (WAL) - he was sensational against us in the last round! Thought Steven Prior (WS) might've polled better too.. Wonder how Blake Varbai-Heward (WS) feels - equal 8th in the count, dropped to C grade for finals. Mitch Gurnett (PUL) should've polled 6 or 7 votes - 8 goals in Round 1 from the midfield and doesn't get a vote is rough.

Nicholas Worrall robbed of 3 votes vs Pulteney too just quietly.

Coming from Kenilworth, you’d know all about that in recent years.

My earlier call for Hope Valley is looking very good. I think they have Walkerville covered

That was a good call. What’s your prediction for the GF?
Walkerville did beat HV easily earlier in the year.

When was Walkerville's last senior flag?

Fair effort to knock off POS and HV in consecutive weeks

Evening everyone.

Our last A grade flag was 2009 v SPOC in div 3. Club is still full but will shortly empty die to covid and licensing rules.

Commiserations to Footy Chick (Lisa) and Hope Valley. Huge effort to go Div 5 flag to Div 4 GF

No apologies- I’m lifting this weekend

GO CATTERS

What's happening with the vacant spot in Div3 has that been offered to either of the GF sides from yesterday?
Any coaching movements heading into the off season?

Are Portland staying in Div3?

I don’t think they’ve been told they’re not

They don’t get told anything.

I believe Portland have told the league they’re coming back into 3 and the League said no problem, it is what it is as per promise when clubs decided whether to play or not in May.

If they get back off the ground they'll have their spot back.

If not, there's probably a couple of outside entities that wouldn't mind filling the spot
