If woody sth win they play finals.... And finish 4 or 5th.

Settle down :? , I had to go out and didnt get to finish it off (notice there was none of the bottom 5 teams in there), I obviously pressed submit by accident. Bit paranoid about being left out are we? Sounds like someone always got picked last at school ;)

PS; Ok, my maths isn't great (in fact I'm the first to admit it's shitehouse) - I was going on the possibility of both Valleys and WS winning next week... and obviously that can't happen

Good win for Havens on Saturday after our worst performance in 3 years the week before against Rosies.

Full credit to West Croydon, Macpherson has them playing a great style of footy and they are very sportsmanlike, which is a huge improvement on their bad old days. The only incident to report was the punch thrown by one WC player at another WC player after the siren. That was a new experience for me.

Any tips on who will be the unlucky team to get relegated?

This is what we know already

Salisbury West will have the bye
WC will play Plympton at home
North Haven V HV or WS either home or away

Lockleys relegated
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

there's only a win and 0.2% between SW and WC, so if SW lose this week (and WC win), they could end up 2nd. WC would be spewing they blew the game on saturday, that would have put them back on top then and made this stupid division even more annoying

If Plympton beat Salisbury West and West Croydon beat Rosewater, WC can still finish top

This is a dead game for Plympton - they can't move, will they rest players coming into finals, or go gung-ho and play a part in determining where they play their first final, SW or Fawk reserve?

Lost by 4pts @ Salisbury West Rd 9
Lost by 15pts @ Fawk Reserve Rd 3

They could potentially have to play at both of those grounds anyway, especially IF they win the Qualifying Final. I think they will go all out for the win to get try and get a mental edge over SW and attempt to beat them 2 weeks in a row (Assuming WC beat Rosewater and get back top spot)

I think the Hope Valley V Woody Souths game sums up this Division and its closeness in a nut shell. Winner plays finals, Loser a chance to get relegated.

Rosewater, Lutherans and Brahma Lodge would all have to win for this to happen, but it would not surprise me if it did.

Woody Souths wont want this to happen as their % is terrible and would send them to Div 6, HopeValleys not so bad and woud probably just keep them afloat.

Ridiculous.

It's the beauty of the promotion/ relegation system, every now and then a group is usually pretty well matched up, it tends to happen to div. 5 more than any other div though.

Just for those that aren't aware, there is still a "mathematical" improbability that north haven could miss out on finals football.
As highly as unlikely as it is, in the event of:
Hope Valley and Woodville South playing out a DRAW
and
North Haven losing by a cricket score,
then next week Hope Valley would host Woodville South and North Haven would miss.

Interesting....

And the above scenario wouldn't even be surprising given what this division has dished up this year!!

I noticed A Jones and D McIntyre from Salisbury West both heading to the tribunal Wednesday night. Could hurt their finals chances if they get more than 1 week...

Cricket and footy dont have that close of relationship....

Would have been nice to make finals, think we could have scared a few sides.

Unsure which one but one was reported for calling umpire a c*ckhead and spitting at his feet..

What a tight division i would think that Woodville South will play finals purely because it will be Samuel Skewes 150th this weekend and being played at home would give them massive confidence to get over the line.. Feel sorry for the team who gets relegated
