Not that it is really relevant based on the points and ladder positions but how can a game get called off due to fighting and anyone get awarded any points at all? You can argue the umps should not have called the game off but there must have been a good reason, if is out of control is out of control for both teams. Did any reports come from the game?

Agreed. When theres chocolates to be won (match points) and both teams turn feral why should they be rewarded for the misconduct.

No soup for you!!!

Official update:

Neither team will be credited with any points, the league are waiting for sporting pulse to amend the ladder manually.

Neither club has been and still won't be on any league radar, In saying that - their C5 teams are on notice and if they so much as fart in the general direction of an umpire or the league again this season, HQ will have no qualms in pulling their C5 team from the comp.

Both clubs were very cooperative with the league and have agreed that the above is a more than fair solution.

Didnt really have any problems when we played NH but there was a pretty ordinary incident with the TTG game which lead to a fairly large "melee". IMO the majority of the TTG side were just good footballers but there was a handful that were happy to snipe here and there who will now really need to pull their heads in or it could be costly. TTG have been strong in both C and D grade and if you were one of the more senior players you seriously would have to have a good chat with these guys because when it kicked off with us you could see the players reactions were like "here we go again". I am not saying that this what happened saturday, just saying I see how it could have if it went the same way.

When a side is on notice so to speak, is it more for not another repeat performance like the weekend or any incident could cost them for example a serious report etc??

Club Banned him from playing 2 days after the indecent, for at least this season before Uni had put in a investigation in. The Indecent was about 2 months ago and we have been trying to get him to fill in the paper work or turn up at Tribunal to answer the case for this long, It was schedule for last night and not sure if he turned up or not? The incident's should be between maybe 6 - 10 weeks of not playing Football but as a club we where happy to give the rest of the season or not play for the club again.

When do clubs C grade side train? Do they train with the A&B grades as one big group or split up into different parts of oval or C grade train on a seperate night (if they train at all?) Be a lot of people on the oval at once if all together.

Ingle Farm C grade train Tues & Thurs, generally they train on their own - they tend to get greater numbers than the A/B.. otherwise if numbers are low they will mix in with the B grade.

Ingle Farm is a reasonable sized oval, so splitting in half or 3 ways usually isn't too much of an issue.

Salisbury Nth C1 train Wednesday nights. It is clear every other side trains with there A's and B's (More so B's at a guess) some very well drilled sides in C1, The standard has massively surprised me.

Uni's c1 side trains with the div 7 side on Thursdays and with all lower grades earlier in the week.

Day release has added benefits though...the top four or five teams could beat each other on any given day. All have a fair whack of talent in them.
