We are thinking of putting it next to the Club Rooms, so it would be more visible with the added bonus of being next to a power point

Zartan did you get to have a Fat Boy Special on Saturday?

Thought it might've been deliberate to turn it off (went off for a few minutes during the B grade) to increase the suspense in the game haha! I liked the scoreboard though - took a little bit to get used to looking for it instead of looking up at the scoreboard though!

Definitely had a Fat Boy special - it's always top of my "to do" list when visiting Brahma, i bloody love them! Only downside was the 20min wait lol, but the man at the BBQ was under the pump a fair bit - and it was well worth the wait still

I actually looked up at half time in the c grade, having forgotten about the score, and actually looked at the old score board. Doh. New one works pretty well IMO, maybe a little change of location will work better.

I learnt that Ingle Farms C grade umpire interprets "what was that for" as "you f'n idiot" haha

Daly Oval would have to be one of the best playing surfaces in local football. havent seen an oval in that good of a condition in many years.

Leant that Irish Gaelic footballers have readily transferable skills and are suited to c grade division Aussie rules.
Learnt That toasted hot dog rolls make a hot dog.
Reinforced that team structures in c grade divisions can suck enjoyment out of the game. Yes, winning is good but skills and fitness generally mean that structures are redundant. I've played in sides that got thumped weekly and it was much more fun trying to achieve little wins than just try to limit opposition scores by flooding.
Learnt that the art of subtle sledging is dying.
Learnt that the increasing amount of grey in rules will make club umpires' jobs harder while allowing unscrupulous umpires more scope to influence games.

Can't believe so many clubs have been writtten off already after one round. I've learnt people are pretty quick to either jump on or jump off!

Nothing much has changed since round 1 apart from the fact that James Allan is still a ball magnet
