3 clubs in 3 years? He spent a season in England for cricket then played the end of the season with mates at Crystal Brook. Moved to Adelaide the next year so obviously has to find a new team being from Whyalla(4 hours away). And its not possible for his brother to fit in the points at Fitzroy. Pretty sure he never got paid in Whyalla either so not sure where you're getting this club slut accusation from.

But I'm sure the Rams got all there players last year with a "culture"

Either way everyone has their reasons to leave. Footy isn't like it used to be. Especially in the city

Maybe it's a bit of jealousy, I mean really reckon most clubs would be happy to sign half a dozen blokes who are going to boost your club and chances.. whether they stick around long term or cost a bit of coin, whether it's a good move or not yet to be determined.

Players move all the time, who cares, reckon the only club who has reason to be a little disappointed is Fitzroy because they're left in a bit of a hole and need to replace these guys ASAP.

IMO
Sometimes the perfect storm happens for a football club.
Coach that had ties with glenunga and players, then the same go at Portland
Plus a lot of mates in between getting in the ears!

Obviously a good coach and mate or had positive impact on people and have a crack to get some players.

West Croydon are well known for not being a cash throwing club.
You sell a good culture and success and make the right moves to tempt players.

There's obviously a vision down there, and people are buying.

So they should be playing for peanuts. They are Div 6 players and these "highly" paid players didn't even take their club to finals. Players in div 6 demanding money and shopping themselves around make me giggle in my funny bits. 3 clubs in 3 years doesn't really make the hooker with a heart of gold story sell to this black duck.

The club should always come before the individual. Now Im not saying they are not entitled to some remuneration for their efforts but buying into a club and its culture is not done through the fattening of a wallet.

They weren't highly paid players and a lot of them have said no to big money offers from other clubs. Is it such a sin for a group of mates to want to be able to play together?
Funny that it's okay for Glenunga to pay mega dollars in Division 5 and fatten the wallets of their players, but Division 6 clubs can't pay big dollars to try and get out either? Very interesting..

Depends on what the individual considers highly paid. I'd say overpaid.
As for Glenunga, Premiers and into division 4. And i believe everyone staying.
Fitzroy, did not make finals and still in div 6. And all recruits walking.

Things a bit off at Para Hills? New coach appointed and only invited a few to the meet the coach night? A bit weird.

Bailey and Nuske to Mallala
McEwen and Lees to Ingle Farm
Marshall and Nash to Eastern Park
Prior to the Adelaide plans umpiring
Bamford won't play under the new coach
Hanson, Rebbeck, Holland, Smith and Sleep all retired

All of them played in the GF big holes.

I can 100% assure you that McEwan will still be at Para Hills in 2018.

Lees i'm hoping comes to Ingle Farm, but yet to open dialogue with him over it, so at this stage would imagine he's also remaining.

No need to be sorry mate say it as you think, Should be more of it as I couldn't give a f**k what people on here think of me. Travis won't leave I believe the new coach is his old mans best mate. No idea tho just what I've heard.

Wouldn't believe the retirement list either.

After the first time surely it was obvious they'd run at the nearest offer again.
Main reason my lads went elsewhere & didn't return to the Roys.
