I'm going to be giggling like a champ whilst giving the odd squeeze of the jatz crackers to ensure the second sphincter protrudes as you go about your business. Go the Chic train, Toot Toot!!! :vom: :vom:

I've heard the opposite, that some senior players who have been around for a long time are almost at the exit with the frustration of it all.

I'm hearing the same, players looking elsewhere at other options almost awaiting the bad news.

That likely has merit as well, I could imagine there would be plenty of frustrated faithful. The text I got half hour ago included word for word "We still going to push for a B grade".

They had a trial game on Sat as well, anyone know how that went? Might give more insight?

Would be disappointed for them if it does collapse, there are players there who have been through the highs and lows at Kilburn and would be a heartbreaking decision for some of them, but they can't train with 4-5 blokes.

Hopefully they can get the two sides up but I don't see it happening.

Just how close to this are you PG?
We have our Ladies Day planned for that day. KFC and SAAFL won't reply to our queries. Should we be worried?
Ladies Day = important financial and associated benefits for our club.

Oh the jokes that could be made considering some of the more colourful rumours floating around last year!

Kilburn played Iggies in a trial on Saturday (A grade only - Iggies B/C had an internal before the A's). Had a few older guys involved but still had 5-6 on the bench, and at no stage were they talking about pulling out for this year. I spoke to Robo after the game (know him since he used to coach Iggies) and whilst he was realistic about where they were at, at no stage did he talk about Kilburn pulling out during the season. To be fair to the Kilburn faithful, the mound men came out to watch and there were a few others around watching and helping out. Hope for their sake that they can keep a team together and build from juniors over coming years.

I'm sure you're social event is number one priority for the Kilburn committee and big wigs at SAAFL house.
