So why rate the medal in which they pick the votes?

A B&F would be "worth" more

If someone from Obahma won the medal you would be all over it on here.
By the way well done to the lads on winning the medal very popular winners by the sounds of it. I dont know much about the lad from Salisbury West but i know Duggie can play the game very well and thoroughly deserves to win one.

Probably right
but wasnt the point i was making
depends how you look at it if you win the $$$ go up a game :)

Alot on here do nothing but bag the umpires all season, but then rate the medal which they decide on.

my point is that a B&F or a MVP (voted by team mates) would be worth more.

depends how you look at it if you win the $$$ go up a game :)

WUB12 how did u know that, Sunday morning as we are running phone books I'm sure everyone in HV will know  All seriousness tho he has had a lot of big offers to play elsewhere every season and has remained loyal to his club whether in Div5/6/7 during his career. Pity there weren't more loyal players around like him. footy would still be the great game it used to be ;)

For me its the other way around, most important thing for me is to get out of div 5 and get some respect back, if we win the flag along the way then that's a happy by-product. I know my views aren't shared by all, but i know there are a lot that feel that way.

I'm looking at it from a Club perspective mate, its more important to me that the boys are in a higher division. Thats the beauty of footy, different things matter to different people.

To me a flag is a short sighted goal, the quest needs to be division hopping each year in my opinion.

My dad is the same, he doesn't give a rats if they win the flag, make the GF thats all he cares about, coz then they are in Div 4 and moving closer to where they used to be oh so many years ago.
