No doubt LB, but im talking across the 18 rounds. You blokes did come home with a wet sail and did deserve promotion.
Plympton were solid across the 18 rounds, finished 2nd, beat WOS comfortably in the QF, were all over pulteney in the first quarter and a half of the semi before pulteney snuck home in the wet (granted yes i didnt see the 2nd half of that game) before WOS smashed them in the prelim.
Dont get me wrong LB, at the end of rnd 18 I considered WOS a genuine chance for promotion and was proven correct. I just think also that plympton, as good as they were across the year can consider themselves unlucky they didnt get promoted and they will rue that as a missed opportunity.
But as they proved that year and Brahma did last year, if you dont bring your A game when it counts, it matters for little.
