Apparently W/C coach was keen to get him next year...

He has been stripped of the Captaincy after the weekends performance so he may well end up there next year

Is this for real? This is some of the most bewildering shite I've ever read on this forum.

This is correct. An altercation at the club Sunday where everyone's frustration boiled over and he was stood down on the spot. Would not expect him to be back at the club next year or if he is 75% of the playing group wont be.

Glass Houses WUB, I don't think wee need to read over the 8000 pages about your previous coach and his relationship with players, which led to his sacking.

yeah and everyone had opinion about that.... ALOT of opinions bout it, and thats what this forum is about, bein able to share your opinions and thoughts on matters happening in div5... whether you agree with them or not!!!!

so as i said earlier it seems a bunch of blokes not willing to share the blame of a loss and found it easier to blame 1 bloke!!

If he kicks 8 we win the game.

7 of your blokes who contributed to the 14 other points kick goals, you also win....LOSS = 21 Players faults.

Just in case I was tempted to ever head out there, that attitude will make sure I never do.

Imagine if the club sacked it's worst 3 players after every loss. There'd be nobody left!

What about the coach leaving him there if he was going that badly? By all means drop a guy who isn't performing well enough but to go and blame a guy en masse for a single loss and strip him of the captaincy is what the worst clubs do. Even worse than aiming for promotion ahead of premierships because grade 5 is so humiliating compared to grade 4!
