Congrats to plympton today on a deserved win. Better side all day and deserves the accolades that come with today's victory.

Go westies and their loyal followers, stick with this side. They will be in div 3 within 3 years and have the ingredinve to go far. May just need to change coaches to be competitive in 2012.

I wish div 5 the best of luck in 2012. hopefully brahma have 20 wins and dominate the comp. :)

I'd have to say after all we've been through not just the shit at the start of this year, but the years before that all the way back into the 90's. This is beautiful. Thank you sals west for a great spirited game that could have gone either way especially if sw had have made the most of their opportunities.

To my nan who was unable to go. She used to make the lace up jumpers back in the day and used to make the pasties to sell, she'd be wrapped. Her eyes are failing so she couldn't come, but she dressed to the nines in red and black sitting at home getting updates.

To my dad, who taught me to love my club, who couldn't be at the Footy today because he's fighting something more important than Footy will ever be, he's been getting all the updates via phone and on the net here. I wish u were here to see it dad.

Comiserations salisbury west, you will be formidable in d4 next year.

This strawberry is the sweetest, thanks guys.

Congrats to Plympton on taking out what proved to be a very even Division this year, sounds like it was well deserved and bad luck to SW who like LTTF said i can see having more success very quickly if they keep that roughly this group together into the future.

I agree Ryno, despite the loss today Westies will move onwards and upwards IMO, very quickly. They have so many lads 16-21 running around in their As and Bs that will all turn into quality senior footballers. Hopefully they stay loyal to their club, they've been so good this season and I would love to see them push on.

Just on today-

I was quite surprised to see a fair few young guys, Jamie McIntyre (Darrels brother?) and a few others that did play B grade earlier in the season in Westies grand final side. Did they have players missing/injured or are those young guys 1st choice players?

The Red Dogs had Smith play right up the ground during the game, he was pushing right up to Half back, it almost looked
like he was starting at CHB.

Plympton pressure was very good, especially in their forward line. The Westies defenders, especially DJ didnt have the time and space they are used to to able to to run and clear the ball out of their defensive 50, so well done to Plympton on that.

I'll be honest and say I hate Plympton and wanted to see them lose so badly but you have to give credit where credits due, well done to the Red dogs, it was a fantastic effort, enjoy it.

Please don't rub it in too much :P You cannow piss off to Div 4, be gone! :)

GO YOU DOGGIES!!!!!!!!!!! Good to see FC grace the club tonight. Ive been at the club for my whole life, and Jabber's post was fantastic... His family is what our club is about. To see my step dad John Williams celebrate a flag was something special... Our club is a proud club and since 92 we have been thourgh some sh*t times... But when my bro took over in 2005 we were on the ropes. in 3 years he got us from bein 0-18 and bein relegated to 2 years later playing of in a prelim final... Yes we lost 3 relims in a row but today made up for all of that!!!!!
THANK YOU TO ALL BOYS WHO PLAYED and a big thank you to Shane who took over this year!!!

Plympton played some great footy today and were the better side!!!

Fantastic effort by plympton and commiserations to salisbury west.

To Jabber and WUB12- Enjoy it lads, i can only imagine what you blokes are feeling now after being so close so many times.

Congrats to Adelaide Luthies on the D5R flag. They were the side that most impressed me in the reserves and got their reward. Also a massive congrats to SD and the boys on HV's C5 flag (yes wrong thread but today it was the early game haha!)

Bring on 2012!
