Silly buggers.. in a season that's a 3rd of the way through, and percentage likely to play a pivotal role - that could well be the difference between playing finals or starting cricket pre-season come 1st week of September.

Two weeks in a row for Pooraka. Also lost their score v Lockleys in Round 2. No points to lose in that game but dents the % even further.

I could be wrong (happens occasionally), but a quick look over the team sheet, would seem a player who was 3pts last season has been listed as 0pts this season instead of 2pts.

He's played last two weeks when points have been maxed, pushing them over the edge.

There is a positive, sneak into 4th or 5th spot and play with momentum, great ploy Pooraka.

The negatives far outweigh the positives. Every week going full tilt from now and you’ll have to play blokes who you may otherwise have rested. Injury Management from here is critical - A decent tear or break from here then you ain’t playing again this year.

Could someone from Smithfield please clarify for me some questions around one of your players.
Jayden Catford is playing this season as a -1 pointer yet last year Jaydon Catford played as a zero pointer?

Is this the same person and if so how is he this year worth -1? Was his junior club not Angle Vale anyway?

Smithfield could be playing with more points than allowed or last year played someone who potentially was not cleared to them so they registered him under an alias?

Because he's about 16 I think.

Needs to have played 25 games for Smithfield before round one to be -1

Without spending time to go through it, from memory Freddy played in YPFL in 2017, recruited in 2019 to Smithfield.

3 points, less 1pt for not playing 2018 = 2pts for 2019
2pts less 1pts for new season = 1pt 2020.

He is still under 18, so is viewed as a junior still, thus -1. When he is over 18, then his junior playing history is looked at to determine points at whichever club he plays for
