Best of luck, but not too much, to all of D4 on the eve of the season.
Can't wait to get back amongst it.
I'm think it is going to be very very close between the top 3-4 sides this year. I honestly reckon that anyone is a shot of making the 5, but then again, we can all look like premiers in April.

Tips this week
Eastern park
Golden grove
Pultney
Pooraka
Salisbury west

There was a poster on here who said they wouldn't win a game, he is wrong. I said when they came up they would be one of about 6 teams going for that fifth spott on the ladder.

Good game at Harpers yesterday. GG got jumped in the first quarter and received a well deserved bake at quarter time. Not a good way to open the season.

The cats were great and worked hard both ways. They have a few good Fwds that will no doubt get some hauls this year.
GG very fumbley During the first 20 mins. Lacked voice and direction. Rd1 nerves? Over excitement?

Much better for the next three quarters. I think we kicked 8 in the last to open it up. 3 weeks in a row we have started poorly. Need to fix that against or will be made to pay by the top sides.

Overall despite the score, woody South gave great account of themselves for a first hit out in d4.

Looking through the team lists, I saw no Wellington for westies yesterday. Injured at the moment or playing elsewhere?

golden grove have some big boys,4-5 over 6ft2 I believe I don't think a div 5 side coming up at the last minute will be able to cope with that.glenunga could well cop what they dished out on Saturday.a hiding at home.

why isnt your grass roots team glenunga?

you seem to be obsessed with them and you certainly have nothing to do with CLG so i dont know why you have that on your profile..hiding from something?
