The logistics of this simply make it impossible. The distance between the clubs is to great

We had a meeting at the club last week for the merger. The final piece was that we would compete in the APFL and the 125 club members in attendance voted 110-15 in favour of the merge and league move.

I believe we'll be merging with Port District and will be called District Districts.

Norwood Districts was a short-lived renaming of Hectorville

Would Gepps Cross & Greenacres rename themselves Northfields?

Payneham Norwood Union is a merger of Norwood Union and Payneham

There were some rumours a couple of years ago the Gepps juniors wanted to be called the Northgate Rams.

Going to be interesting to see what CBOC'S B grade looks like this weekend. They have a habit of loading up with players who should be playing A's. Maybe if they played in the grade they should their A's might be playing finals?

Ridiculous! Have won 2 B grade flags in 39 years one a couple of years ago (A grade played finals that year & was knocked out by eventual premier by a couple of goals, last season the a grade was knocked out by eventual premier also) & another back in the early 90's. Give me some names, stats or facts to back up your stupid statement....?????

There is a massive difference in standard between Div 5 & Div 5r.

Intense game at Lockleys today. We never looked like we were going to win but hung in there and reduced a 3-4 goal margin 3 times to get back to 3 points. But in the end couldn't get in front. Lockleys used the ball better across the four quarters. Some bone crunching clashes in a game played in great spirit.

No real surprises with yesterday's results? Did anyone see the 2 games at Smithfield yesterday? Probably expected the B's to be more one sided and the A's to be closer.

I only saw the first quarter of the smiffies game and it seemed that possessions were pretty evenly spead, with the only difference being that Smiffies were more effective when the ball entered their 50..

The Glenunga full back (the tall ranga) looked like an alright player, although i thought it was Steve Smith when I first saw him and though he still couldn't be running around in the ones at his age..LOL
