I strongly suspect I could be changing my opinion about the best team I have seen this year from next week but I am genuinely shocked to see BOS in 4th spot. The best team I have seen this year. Soon see how we fare as we have the entire top 5 the next 5 weeks!

Watched hope valley and blacks yesterday, and I don't know how many bos had out but thought the valleys should have won. Saw CBC a fortnight ago also at the valley and reckon they were more impressive than Blacks. Two losses by under a goal and losing to Greenacres will cost Hope Valley a finals spot imo

Can anyone tell me why the premiership table hasn't recognised the draw between Kenilworth and Rosewater?

Dunno, might be because no one put put it into sporting pulse properly? (that's only a guess)

*edit* looks like i could be on the money, ladder also shows the 2 of them only playing 7 games each instead of 8.

@S Demon?

I have been at the club since 2004, and don't recall us missing the 5 in my time, either.

Probably mid-late 90's we would have. I know the A grade struggled in 95 after winning the premiership and losing half their side the following year. We fought it out though, unlike the current day teams

Can't disagree with that.

That said - with the injuries we've sustained this year, our B grade depth has also probably been hindered by the reluctance of promotion of players from the undefeated C grade, with the exception of one or two.

We've got 25 x U18 kids to choose from each week. That drops to 20 when you consider 5-6 of them are already playing A grade. They are the ones who should be topping up the Reserves side and they currently are. Not blokes who train for half an hour on a Thursday (if at all) and are playing C grade footy simply to have a kick early in the day. If it wasn't for triple headers, 70% of the C grade side wouldn't even be playing footy at all.

If it ever got to the stage where the B grade were really struggling for numbers, then the C grade boys would fill the gaps

It was only a few weeks ago v Kenilworth where 3 x B graders actually came down to the C grade

Kenilworth did that last week too. Only had 14 or 15 so 5 or 6 bgraders played cgrade too.

Serious question: Does your club credit the player with 2 games in their records?

Yes, i believe so.

With Triple Headers most weeks and improved player numbers, not often we have players play both these days unless a very late pull out from B grade,

Only when they use their own name.

We were never credited with 2 games
I'd have over 300 games up
