I rate Smithfield’s use of the footy when it’s in their hands. 2 weeks time at Hope Valley will be a bloody good game of footy when they both meet.

Watched Smithfield on weekend will finish mid table be surprised if they cause any problems for top couple of sides.

Who have you seen play this year? I haven’t seen everyone yet obviously but the top 4 I think may have 1 change potentially at this stage. There would be 3-maybe 4 other teams right now fighting it out for 5th looking at results.

Top 3 stay as is order might change 4th and 5th either Lockleys,Smithfield or Eastern Park haven’t seen Lockleys yet.
Can’t see any of the other teams any chance possibly only Salisbury when everyone plays.

Probably a pretty fair summation at this stage.. but we really wont know until mid-year when clubs manage their injuries and we have seen each side sqaure off.

Eastern Parks draw from here gets a little friendlier which should help them, Smithfield's a little more challenging and Pulteney have a very tough month coming up.

Wouldn't suprise me to see only 1 or 2 games separating 2nd to 8th by the halfway mark.

Blind Freddy can see that Kenilworth and Pulteney are the standouts with Hope Valley close behind in 3rd.

Lockleys, Smithfield and Eastern Park will round out the from 9 all on 10 points, the round 1 fiasco will hurt Smithfield at this point but at the end of the day it's a marathon, not a sprint and you have to be able to beat the teams that you are vying for spots against to make the finals, then you have to beat the teams above you to not make up the numbers.

Smithfield will be better suited to the heavier grounds in July and onwards, and all bullshit aside, Lockleys and Eastern Park have sung their song once in four outings so far.

Heard yesterday from said players dad that Blackfriars B grade coach is paying some B graders out of his own pocket to stay in the B's. Players refusing to play A grade is always a shit situation and no doubt they will struggle all year if it's true. Maybe why someone mentioned on here that they have some good B graders who should be playing A grade. Never heard of a B grader getting paid, maybe i retired too early.

Pulteney's depth will be tested in coming weeks - two weeks in a row picked up long term injuries. Have KFC (A), SFC (A) and HV in the next month as well as SAL and TOS (A).. 4-0 so far, but could turn 5-4.

Eastern Park have played 3 sides expected to figure in the top 5 so far, I think they'll win the next 4 and turn at the break 5-4.

Lockley's were always going to be pushing shit up hill to win their opening three rounds, they got a bonus with the Smithfield fiasco Rd 1, and their draw settles down from here. Eastern Park appears their next biggest threat in the coming weeks, and Dwight Reserve i'm tipping EP, so if they win the remaining games that they'd go in favourites for they also enter the break 5-4.

Smithfield's challenges will come Rd 6 and 7 against HV and PUL - if they win one of those then i'd expect them to win 4/5 towards the break and take a ledger of 6-3 at the halfway mark.

Kenilworth look a long way ahead of the rest, and Salisbury so far a bit off the pace, followed by TOS, RFC and BOS - all seem to be able to win on their day, but dont look like challenging the top sides too much, however TOS do play 6 home games in the space of 8 weeks that may help.

Scaffidi-Muta playing B grade is a joke.. talk about a player thinking he's bigger than the club.

It's clear BOS need him in the 1's, and he's far too good for B grade, yet he's happy to keep kicking bags in the reserves while the A grade struggles.

What hope does O'Riley have as a new coach to the club of having success if this is the culture that is breeding within the club.

Blackfriars will get relegated, and when they look back at the end of the year they can blame those who just wanted to chase a cheap kick in the 2s.

The difference with Wes was that he wasn't that good, they just gave him votes every week as a running joke! ;)
