The Gepps Cross v Salisbury B grade game went into extra time aswell I was told by one of my mates who plays at Gepps. Salisbury kicked a goal on the siren to send it into extra time and they got up by a goal.

Looks like we'll have a triple header next Saturday-
Cs v PAOC
Bs v Salisbury
As v Eastern Park

wasn't it a double of extra time?

Was definitely double extra time.

Great game of footy and credit to Salisbury for their fight back after being nearly 5 goals down in the third. Kicked a goal after the siren from about 40 which wobbled off the boot but managed to clear he line.

Our discipline probably cost us the game with a couple of silly frees and a yellow resulting in goals.

The As were never in it against Kilburn. Just got off to a good start and we just couldn't play catch up all day. The delayed start didn't help but can't be used as an excuse as it was the same for Kilburn as well.

Div 4 GF was a week earlier than Div 3 GF last year and was held at Thebby, year before it was at Alberton. Alberton was used again last year for Div 7 GF with St Mary's and E'Town used for D5 and D6. With the mix of teams left in D4 Alberton would seem logical choice but availability may be restricted this year with both Port teams in finals action.

I heard it was almost a certainty to be played at Edwardstown Oval unless their B grade make the GF

But then again, a courier driver told me this and we all know what their info can be like haha

Can't imagine Towns would be the ideal location if it's a NH v EP or NH v Kilburn GF.

If we went off 2nd Semi teams, and I don't know which (if any) SANFL grounds will be used (let's assume none are available), a rough guess might look something like:

D4 @ Kilburn
D5 @ St Mary's
D6 @ Salisbury
D7 @ PNU

Campbelltown unavailable due to ROCs hosting their 2nd Semi.

When you have two clubs north of the city playing, wouldn't it be logical to play it north of the city?

In the same way a Glenunga v Lockleys or Morphy Park v CLG GF wouldn't be scheduled north of GJ Road?

No, they'd prefer it to be up the other end of town to keep the crowd down somewhat.

Smithfield played Heccies @ Kenilworth last season, food for thought.

You are being logical, the league will be protecting reputation.

Lets be sensible, Edwardstown is 8kms from Adelaide CBD and just off Main South Road, most teams/clubs would play a GF anywhere.

If I were a punter, I'd be guessing

D4 - Alberton (if available)
D5 - Towns
D6 - Payneham
D7 - St Marys
