As with all things concerned with Tynte St it will not happen

remember it's only C grade football

I understand your comment Bay boy. Surely its better for the competition if Unley are allowed to continue. Most of the guys running around in the C grade dont want a bye, they want to have a kick and catch every week. I know at our club, the C grade is made up of 2 main groups - one group who are busting their guts to get into the B grade, and the others who are happy to have a social game on a Saturday. The guys pushing for a higher grade arent going to get any better unless they can play every week. Obviously some the the C grade sides are taking it alot more serious than others, and thats great. But who really cares about getting 10 goals wins for forfeits, etc. The best sides will still end up at the top of the ladder.

Totally agree Felch with your sensible comments

Unley were forfeiting as they didn't have enough players and an umpire
So it's not a case of picking and choosing when they want to play, like some people are saying on here

All good then. No one wants a bye.

Got to be all of 700m to mitchams oval from unley. I heard they had to ring in several players for that game and mitcham were no better and started with 17 that week with their coach playing because so many people were away for anzac Day

unley forfeited against our (PAOC) c-grade a few weeks back. I think some of the guys in the c-grade were dirty about it, not just because they didn't get a kick, but because they thought they could win by more than 10 goals

no, this is for those who play C grade... 8)
it has been the more sensible of the 2 though...

ok, big game on this weekend- Priince Alfred OC v Fitzroy!
let's have some thoughts from those who've played against either, or both sides...
match ups? players to stop? where the game will be won?

good chance balnaves could head back to the c's this week (averaging nearly 7 goals a game in the c's this year). He's been playing b's but has found it tough in the pocket next to greenslade

Best way to play PAC is to play accountable footy. You play man on man and you shut down their run. they are really accurate off the boot so defenders need to be aware to play in front. Their midfield always seem to find a way to become loose. throw ins they always seem to have 3 off the back free and able to get an easy possession and run away with it. Their a great outfit but accountable footy can shut them down! We were accountable for one quarter and beat them. Soon as we stopped being accountable they were off again.
