Dene Steele is going to be a busy boy next year playing for Eastern Park, Elizabeth and Padthaway. Hope he's getting petrol money...

Playing Gaelic last night and talking to a few of the boys at Kenilworth. They were saying their big full forward Josh Blyth is off for big money to the Yorke Peninsula. Saw the big boy play last year a number of times and a big loss for Shane Baldock and the Kookaburras. Kicked around 90 goals for the year and handy. We played against him the year before and him and Blake Moser both up forward were highly damaging. Blyth would be over 30 by the looks and might have a few years left in his big body. Was talking to him the year before after we played them at the bar and he said he had played reserves at North Adelaide

Pressler has signed at GG. Add to this Stent, Castree & a bloke from TTG (name escapes me) great inclusions to our A grade list.

My tip is Salisbury West as the team to beat next season. Will be their 50th year i believe and from what i have heard they have picked up some handy players from Salisbury North and others. Golden Grove and Eastern Park will def be around the mark though i would imagine...

Don't think so buddy.
But there are 20 and 30 year premiership reunions this season.
Pooraka known as it is today started in 1969.
Name was changed from Abattoirs to Pooraka in 1968 for the 69 season.
I can't tell you how many years Abattoirs was up and running for.

Since Alan Didak's AFL career is now over might we see him in a Pooraka guernsey sometime soon? Probably not next season but you would think he'll come back to his grass roots club for a season in the very near future. Would be good to see
