The lure of walking a couple of blocks to watch me was always going to superseed any pnu offer ;)

why would adelaide uni be happier to split their E & F grades into the c-comps when theres a spot here for them to stay together and therefore wont require so many different volunteers to attend 2 different playing locations

See bold above.
As other clubs start putting in more sides (especially in traditional University feeder competitions such as colleges) this impacts on the numbers available for Uni. Put simply, we don't have the same quality and numbers throughout the club that we once had hence the relegation of our C grade last year into Div 7.
The club believes that the E and F grades should play sides equivalent in level.
Regarding volunteers, because of the nature of Uni's lower grades, volunteers have been more side oriented than club ie attracted by people within a particular team and dispersing sides throughout various C grades won't impact on this. Also with there being many triple headers in C1, a and b grade volunteers will help out.

Just had a look at the new fixtures and I may have missed something but Blackwood FC are in Div 8 now. I have never heard of them are they from Hills league?

Surprised Wingies have two sides.

Wingies only have 1 side - in D8, no side in D8R

Its their C grade team, their A and B grade will still play in the Hills. I thought they were going to be C4? SAAFL must have realised they would be too strong for that grade and have pushed them up to Div 8

Colonel Light Gardens C grade is in the Div8R comp. So, still remains a 9-team comp.....

Is this the first year for CLG to have a C grade??

Good luck to CLG, good bunch of lads, did well in C4 considering the way they came about last season.. showed in patches they can be a very good side.
