cause that sist definately could count for another player!!!
that is the job of the coach to make sure things like that arent happening
especially against teams like that!!!!

parhaps wrong century not 100% on his age, but came to the club last year after controversy at his original club saw him boned. the players should be well drilled enough to understand the basics of man on man around stopages, lack of communication around the ground also contributed to many holding the ball decisions.

Pag what were Pooraka like on the weekend heard they were 5 goals up at 1/4 time

Yeah they were, score was 5.2 to 0.5 at quarter time, we were flat before the game and paid for it. Wore them down and outscored them by a couple of goals each quarter after that.

They go alright, Pead in the middle is good, Coles and Howe up forward have good hands too. Teams will need a couple of good, tall defenders to stop both those guys on the same day. Back half seemed solid, problem will be their depth and pace in the midfield I would think. Will make the five though.

It was much the same when we played them Pag, they got off to a flier, 4-5 up i think, and we pegged them back slowly. Got back level late in the last, but they kicked a couple of steadiers to win by 2 kicks. They do have a good forward line. Obvious thing to me would be to get off to a good start, put them under pressure early. Agreed though, they will make the 5.

one key thing they did round one was forced us to play very wide, was this the case pag? bigger bodies than ours through the middle

Didn't so much force us wide, we just turned it over and they moved it pretty well on the counter-attack, Coles and Muller had brilliant first quarters across half-forward so they always had avenues to goal.

I didn't think the bodies in the middle were a lot bigger than ours, Para Hills midfield on their small oval was a much tougher proposition.

seen him play out salisbury north a few times last year he was always in the best.

He was good for the first half when we played them, faded out a bit in the second half but has a hell of a lot of pace.

fitness not really an issue at the thunder, discipline at crucial times lacking

doesnt help when coach isnt making the best decisions for team!!!!
wether that be before game at selection or in the game at crunch time.

in my opinion the players dontt seem happy with the coach.

i think the team selected for the a grade has been pretty good maybe one or two that should be there will be there this week, coaches mantra seems to be put people in the right places and let them win the ball and their position. but blame at the end of the day should rest with the players for results like the weekend. LACKLUSTRE sums up the players efforts. a good move for the coach would be a team trip to the hall of mirrors for a growing up session.

yes portland seem to go of the rails. would almost compare them to salisbury west at times, with a few very dirty players. i have played with a few clubs iron so i like to keep up to date with each league. im playing in div 6 this year. do u see portland improving come finals
