Heard a lil whisper yesterday that Matt Eagles is having in depth chats with Hamley Bridge would be a massive loss if he was to head out there

And where did you hear this?

I know that Port Adelaide hand his number out to anyone who asks for it but in this case your mate Shrill is doing the chasing

Thats interesting. Whats the chances of him lining up at the Bridge? He'd want to be getting paid a bt if he wants to go to a club thats won 2 games in 3 years

With the inclusions of Christman, Pepe, moody, Catteral back from injury and if whispers are true Eagles i would predict a fair improvement from Hamley Bridge

Likewise if you hear anything more on blokes from your team punching on with each other please let me know.

Whats the go with the SAAFL weekly magazine are they going to get it back up and running or is it gone for good?

Round 2 results:
Plympton 7-3 d Echunga 4-2
Mt Barker 3-12 d Hahndorf 4-5
Mt Lofty 9-3 d Tailem Bend 4-4

i know its only trial games but Plympton playing games against these sides is great for the club. I know that Mt Lofty is a decent side in the hills league. So will help the red dogs this season if they draw lofty

I heard most of the Hills sides played Under 18s. Nothing to brag about.

Training camp was hard yakka, numbers were below what we expected with a number of late scratchings. The boys that did attend worked their asses off though and it was a good weekend.

I believe we will have 2 squads of 24-25 for the 2 games on Sunday. I'm not sure who's in and who's out, which isn't really that important in a trial game anyway IMO

Blowing out the cobwebs, having a decent hitout, trying a few new things and getting to have a look at some of the new players and the young players is what its all about. Looking forward to it...

im pretty sure no one is bragging...
i saw the program from the last nightof compition and it had a list of players who played fpr pfc.. fair few young lads, few c graders and some b graders. only a couple of 'a' graders...

So what you're saying is that only "a couple of A grade players" are playing trial games before Round 1?

Or have you guys got other trials organised other than this 20/20 comp...?

i personally dont know the ins and outs at the moment i just went on the program i saw... i know few of the lads arent available due to work and other commitments.. the 2 notable names i saw who played were jim smith and vanders. i know they've had very good numbers out at trainers and i get the feeling from speaking to a few of the lads that there is a really positive feeling around the club and everyone is fired up for round 1...
im not sure about other trials...
