chesser in the B grade and moser not selected..dont think they can afford to have him MIA..[/q

kid wasn't going to play at all because he wanted a year off so Im guessing having him play bgrade is better then not at all.. 21 years of age 3 time a grade best and fairest winner even with a year off a grade he's got plenty of footy in him...

Hmmm, I always thought Largs Reserve, wasn't that long, Salisbury Oval on the other hand is a friggin suburb.

I cant think of many ovals as big as Largs that I've played on.

St Marys is wider, but not as long.

I've never personally played at Salisbury.

I guess my raking left foot made any oval seem small.

Salisbury longer by 5m approx according to property assist satellite images. St Mary's wider by approx 10m

Only a rough estimate as the image was taken in the summer configuration of both ovals.

Where does Largs North Oval fit into that?

PS. The Google satellite image is shit. Its the cricket format, making the oval 20m+ shorter on the southern end.

Seems a bit off as the cricket oval is about 30m shorter than the football oval and I wouldn't have thought our oval is 25m longer than Salisbury's. Salisbury's is definitely wider.

North Havens original oval marking when they moved to the centre of the reserve was the exact length of Footy Park, then coach Chris Natt was also the GM of Footy Park or the SANFL or something like that.

It's probably changed 20 times since then though depending on the council.

As long as Salisbury's bench's are comfortable, there won't be any complaints from me.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

About 50m shorter and 10m skinny than St Mary's.

I've tried my best using the regrowth of the goal squares plus my limited local knowledge of each ground.

Having played on them all I would have said Kenilworth and Salisbury are bigger than largs but lets just agree they are all big.

I've never played footy on Glandore Oval but it seemed a little pokey when I umpired there, nice feel to the place though.
