thanks to twig and his boys for last saturday..sometimes scores dont reflect endeavor and effort and they had plenty of that..it took us a while to shrug them off..they stuck to their plan and battled the entire day out..well done..

TOSFC V WCFC is the game of the round as zartan has noted and will define some finishing spots in the top 5..did you enjoy your week off zartan? :)

Pretty unfortunate scenes at Trinity on Saturday with the game being called off halfway through the last quarter due to a horrible injury to Trinity player Brad Maurits. Credit to Smithfield players who showed immediate concern and respect to the incident, both clubs made the right call in calling the game off, don't think any of the players would have wanted to go back out for 9 minutes in a game that was all but over after seeing such a horrible injury..

On the games, both hard fought and played in good spirits from what I could tell.. The B grade an inexperienced Trinity took on a strong Smithfield side and had a real crack.. Disappointed to lose top spot but happy in the knowledge we can match Smithfield at their best.. The A grade Smithfield were just 1-2 goals better each quarter, Micky Lane was unstoppable. Not sure where I was looking for 3 of Ashbys goals but I certainly cant recall him kicking 4..

Has had a pin and 6 screws inserted to hold it aligned, on the mend now. Not ideal for a father to a new born who had just started a new job last week.. We wish him all the best and will do our best to support him through the recovery

I do, it's a great visual. Didn't take long for fatherhood to kill your sense of humour

I mean I would be interested to know how many he actually kicked. Know for a fact he didn't kick 3 against fitzroy. Kicked one but managed to have three written down.
