Nah, weve enjoyed drawing attention to ourselves and disrupting the league you condescending twat.

I note PAOC have named a full 25 in C grade, and a full 25 in D grade, and a further 9 emergencies!

Had they dropped back to a simple 21 in each, together with the 9 emergencies, they are already at 17.
I wonder how hard it would have been to get those last 4, or even get a couple of players to double up.

Coming from a club that fields 5 sides, having to scratch up an extra 4 players may not seem like much, but its the ongoing requirement to do this weekly and when injuries/holidays hit, you are trying to find 15 blokes to fill the sides just so you dont forfeit (which people are already getting frustrated with)

not to mention the impact it has on training numbers, when you have the bare minimum amount of players to fill your bottom side, blokes quickly learn that they dont need to train to play. I think PAOC made the right call at a time when it would cause too much impact to the Divisions.

I was advised to start getting fit a couple of weeks ago - that's how desperate they were
I can now concentrate on the BBQ and beer for the rest of the year

Thanks to the Adelaide Uni lads for a cracker of a game Satdee. Uni dominated most of the day I felt and we were absolutely kissed on the dick with a couple of fluffed chances.

... and if that oval isn't the best place to watch and play footy in the Adelaide Footy League then I'll eat my gameday undies

My missus and her Mum (not at all football people) actually came and watched specifically because I promised them it was within 10 mins of where they lived and that there was a comfy, undercover grandstand that wasn't filled with drunkard bogans.

Not many places you can claim that.

I love it. Parking restrictions the only down side.

Massive pain in the arse if the Crows or Port are playing a Saturday Game.

I've got Port tickets so if they are its even better as they usually hand out parking permits!

Parking sucks but all it means is maybe a 10 minute walk through some beautiful areas of Adelaide.

Central United 15.13.103 lost to North Pines 17.2.104

9x more scoring shots, and to lose by a point must be a very tough pill to swallow!

17.2 is fair kicking too!

Is the Units season reaching crisis point now? Long way back from 0-4 :(

I left at the start of the 3rd term and simply can not believe Units lost that game! Pines had 12 straight when I left.

Injuries are hurting them big time, 8 or 9 first picked A Graders out at the moment, but its giving opportunities to some young guys.

Their B Grade is playing ok as well with lots of changes, slow starters but finishing games very strongly.

They'll play some good footy later when they have their best team on the park.

I agree with the surrounds. The view across the ground to the Hills is magnificent.
Our d7 coach said that Uni were out worked at ground level and that the Blacks' bad kicking wasn't enough to change the result.

Yeaah of course hes going to say that. Another one of those weird cultural things footy has where you can't report on things that are factual if they're seen as an excuse by the proletariat - even if they're absolutely accurate.

I must say I did like his spray at 3/4 time when there was a bit of argy bargy. Was very well done.

Well then what's your synopsis? 5.11 to 9.6 does seem inaccuracy plays a significant part.

Second quarter MP kick 3.1 and AL 1.3 - game over.

That is my synopsis. It was the Uni coach that said Adelaide Uni's inaccurate kicking didn't affect the result - when it clearly did. Keep up Purple.

From the best...

... to the worst. Actually don't think we should be playing football there as a competition.

Absolutely, can't stand the place.

On the same token, I've never played at Glenunga without it pissing down and feeling like I'm working on a Tasmanian farm.
