It’s great business by SportingPulse. Make the system. Get every league in Australia (and some international) using it for free.

Once they have the market. Add a $15.00 admin fee per player

Junior players are $10.

So 1.5 million times an average of $12.50 per registration is $18.75 million per year.

The other rogue is the $50 each coach has to pay to the AFL to register
And that coaching fee is not a once off, it has to be paid every year that one coaches

Really? I was told that coaches do not have a fee to pay. (Assuming they have completed the Foundation Coaching course equivalent to the level they are coaching..

Coaches have to pay $49.50 every year to volunteer to coach kids. Have done for a while

It's not that hard. We have used spots tg for the last 4 years as a way for everyone to pay their subs as they register. It's a massive time saver for the treasurer not to have to chase players up for payment. Get the money up front and don't have to think about it for rest of year.
Supposedly club payments are going to reduce, they may for 1 year but you get the sense that overall the sanfl will be collecting more money.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

We reimburse the coach though so the coach isnt out of pocket, other clubs would do the same wouldnt they?

Not sure this info is correct unless it’s done differently in the ADFL. I have just re registered as a coach myself and don’t need to pay anything. On the SANFLs own FAQ page about this they mention that coaches do not have a fee to pay. So some clubs charge the coaches to coach? Am I reading that correctly??

Sounds like you’ve registered to coach on sportsTG

You need to register with the AFL to be accredited which costs $50.00

Yes I am on SportsTG, and have done my foundation courses through the CoachAFL site. I am accredited but I still didn’t pay anything.

This year all you need to do is a short course on Mental Health awareness on the CoachAFL portal.
