A great day at mortlock park. Big thanks to the Salisbury lads and there crowd for contributing to a great day. A very very classy bunch are the folk from Salisbury. 3 hard fought matches and if I’m honest the best team on the day probably didn’t win the A grade

Thanks to the lads who came upstairs and thanks to the support staff for leaving the rooms absolutely spotless

From what I hear Kirkwood won't be playing footy post SANFL retirement.

Given his retired because of an on-going back injury I find it hard to believe he would play elsewhere.

Only way possible would be if the back injury is managed better by potentially only having to train once a week at most, compared to the 2-3 at SANFL level.

I think the back injury plus the training load of SANFL would have taken its toll on his body by the end.
If you’re Pooraka, you would be more then happy if he only trained here and there and made himself available for the back end of the year.
Be interesting to see if he lines up or not. 0 point player and Pooraka flying at the moment too

Heccies renovations are extremely good. Nice little viewing platform that I'm sure could get a little rowdy at times.

Thanks Chappy, we are very happy with them, especially the balcony which is a big improvement on the old on.

Well played yesterday, good contest until the last.

How's the young fella going that looked severely Concussed?
Was a very good contest, I wasn't confident about going out to Daly and getting a Win, but very proud of our boys digging deep late.
Some pretty handy blokes running around in the 2's for you blokes.

Second concussion for the year so think he's going to give it a bit of time unfortunately. Not much in it either, heard he copped an accidental poke in the eye which jarred his head back at the same time he got a whack on the back of the head. Nothing untoward, just lots of bodies in a pack.

The 2's had a few back from injury and clicked the best they had all season. They did look good, pressure on some A graders to keep their spot.

That's half the season done for us, not sure if a 2 week break is an advantage or disadvantage at this stage, we will see in about a months time.

us losing our 3 games by a combined 14 points confirms that also. Its going to be a fun second half of the year that's for sure.

Half way mark and this grade is tight. Realistically there’s premiership cases for 7 sides. 2 very good teams will miss out on finals footy.

Fitzroy and west Croydon to do some damage on the back stretch?
