Pooraka would be short priced flag favourites.

Still think Kenilworth are in it up to their eyeballs, despite the result last weekend.

Was a good day

Mad respect to JWK, absolute gun of a player. Had the pleasure of talking to him post match and he is a really good bloke.

It was a brilliant game of footy and well done to CLG on hosting it. Nice also to have the filming crew commentating.

Go from winning a flag and not being able to to go up to potential relegation in the space of a season.

Settle you mob.. Lockleys wont get relegated, they have too much depth at the club which will hold them in good stead come mid season.

Zed did a wonderful job in his time but he also had a very very good side last year - they don't have the same side this year given some top end cattle have now headed back to greener pastures.

It'll be a good test for the Demons though and their character to go through this hard patch.. particularly since they're the self proclaimed "best little club in town." 8)

Hard to know yet without knowing whether its one or two clubs going down from the nine-team comp.

If it's only one, they should be OK.

At the moment mate, but if another club decides to wander in from the HFL or SFL they have to fit somewhere.

Smithfield surely to comeback but not straight back into 5? They would be one of the two relegated?

Is your club that you have been affiliated with in the SFL one of those 3?

Not that I’m saying it will happen, or that I want it.. but how many clubs can the SFL maintain before it completely collapses?

Surely if it's more than one club, its two down/one up for Div 3/4 to fit any in (for higher-level entrants).

Do you think a club like say Kenilworth would be happy about that if they lost the GF this year? Stuck in D5 after making consecutive GF's :-k

Probably not, but how else do you fit a club into Div 3 for example?

2 up, 3 down?

Could, but you'd then have eighth-place clubs with a grievance as well?

The other alternative is to slip a Div 3-level club in the vacant spot in Div 5 and watch them walk through to a flag. Not ideal for Div 5 clubs either?
