90 minutes 12 in is where I think he might have hurt it his knee, the bloke on the ground must have had hard ribs.

hmm, not sure on that one.

Must have been the dirty Lonsdale player who was punching the guy on the ground over and over again that made no 32 trip.

Lonsdale supporters were pretty feral bunch, you'd kinda expect that though with all the inbred action coming down from that way.

One of the officials from Lonsdale came over to Houghtons bench and apologised for how bad they were acting. Guess that kind of stuff happens when you are just a bottom end team with scum in the crowd. Houghton came away with the win so guess long drive back for the 6 people that came to watch had a great drove home.

My man Cunno looked to be rebounding quite well in the first quarter, looks as though he's settled in nicely up at the mountain.

yeah but #32 is one of the biggest knobs and flat track bullies in amateur football. Probably deserved it.

Still remember playing on that ground when they had ATCO huts as changerooms and the ground was covered in shell grit. Worst ground I’ve ever played on.

Yep, Mike Rann used to go watch them there too, I dislocated my elbow there one day, that was a bizarre injury.

Houghton oval is out of business for the season due to some drainage rennos. Modbury have used the novel for the last few years for junior footy i believe -

Haha those were the days - with Golden Grove celebrating 25 years this year there have been a few photos of the old huts going in circulating on social media.

Ohh the memories of junior and senior footy at Greenwith Oval.

Was very much a parklands footy type of set up in the middle of no where. No showers, covered in cuts and grazes from the grit and the ground had a massive slope from memory.

Nice work, yes, the joint was occupied by Golden Grove, they did some hard yards before they were afforded the luxurious Harpers Field.

I was up there a couple of weeks ago, their A's, B's and C's on the top oval, women's A's and B's on the bottom oval, you pretty much had to park your car and uber it there, the place was packed and they had a girls mini league style game at half time of the women's A grade match.

How's Joel Harvey travelling out at Sharkville?

Wondering if anyone from Lonsdale had any stamps that anyone could borrow??

Maybe some left over from sending video to the league?

Once again another loss for Lonsdale. Will you guys ever win anything?

Was the knee footage sent to the league.

I have no problem with clubs sending footage to the league if it is a genuine tribunal worthy issue.

Either do I.

Seems the league saw this as not the case. Guess they may have seen the guy on the ground throwing haymakers.

Im totally unbiased and have no affiliation with either club. Id say its a bit rich to call "haymakers" being thrown. Looks like hes trying to make an attempt to handball the ball so not to get paid holding the ball. "haymakers" would normally be reserved to someone "king hitting" or visably winding up to punch someone. The knee dropping is not a great look but again very little force used. Umpire handled it well.
