Big 5-10 overs coming up. One needs to lift the tempo. RR already nearing 7 an over

I reckon Coops needs to take them on and Klinger bat the innings

Would have thought McDonald does not open the batting next innings, maybe an opener can open! On big coin, not bowling, got his brother some games, and pointless at top of the order

West End Redbacks need 68 runs from 48 balls. 7 wickets in hand. Surely we wont get bowled out :/

McDonald now injured and Tim Evans back into the squad. Hopefully Weaver opens where he should have batted last game

Whilst Cooper and Maxy have been getting all the attention (deservedly), I reckon Peter Georges' bowling has gone to another level. He has been taking wickets with a quite low ecomomy rate. Whilst the bowlers yesterday went around 6 an over he only went for 4.

I think the side as a whole hasnt done badly, we have made 240+ in all games and only 1 bad batch or 1 key moment has cost us in 2 close games.

yep havent done much wrong apart from richo having 2 brain farts and 1 small batting collapse which means we make 250 instead of 300

2013 Ryobi One-Day Cup season schedule on Gem

Postby Jim05 » Sat Oct 19, 2013 11:17 am

Does Zampa bowl anything that hits the pitch?
Just seen him bowl 2 overs with atleast 3 fullies in each.
QLD 3/124 in the 26th
All 3 Queensland wickets have an asterix next to them

Ben cutting will be the key to Queensland making 300. Always spanks us.

This young Peirson fella looks a goer, commentators said he was the keeper in the Aussie u19's. Opening the bat for Queensland, made 52 on debut Wednesday and is on 79no today. With Hartley still injured he must be a chance to keep in their first shield game

George drops Hopes off his own bowling, great delivery too. That could be a crucial missed chance.

Zampa is bowling with some nice variety.

Shocking over by Richardson though.
