I'm as close to a test side call up as Head :D

Yep Head isn't even our best batter anymore.
Lehmann for mine is next picked....... and he's miles off being picked for national duties.

Agree but unfortunately it seems it HAS to be a fricken ALLROUNDER!!

Send Cummins as a replacement. He is a gun (along with Pattinson). If Starc or Hazlewood were to not be fit for one of the Test's I'd pick him, even with one innings of first class cricket behind him in 6 years.

There is no way Mitch Marsh would've been picked anyway, so shoulder injury good excuse to replace him and mend the mistakes made with squad selection in the first place.

I would consider Agar in for M.Marsh and Cummins in for O'Keefe.

I would probably just go for Khawaja in for Mitch Marsh.

Considering Marsh didn’t bowl many overs should they just put Khwaja in and increase the batting stocks or put in Maxwell who can bowl?

I wouldn’t think they would bring Stoinis in before them but who knows with the Australian selectors

This was my conspiracy theory - and i continue to believe it to be true!

Zartan wrote:Honestly, this is a bit of a conspiracy theory.. but do people really think all these players are getting injured, or is it an excuse used by CA to warrant their dumping while saving face? If CA dropped Marsh on form after naming him for India imagine the backlash!

Siddle - controversial selection Perth test.. dropped "injured" next test, not seen again.
Lynn - selected in ODI on the back of T20 form.. out to a horrible shot.. "injured" next ODI.
Marsh - has a stinker in last nights game.. "injured" next day.

Handscomb & Khawaja the replacements, who were both questioned why they weren't included in the original squads..

Coincidence?

By saying Marsh is injured and not dropped it makes it easier for them to bring him back at any time they feel the urge without any form whatsoever. If hes dropped he needs to perform at lower levels to be included again

And Greg Chappell doesn't feel like a goose by making a mistake selecting him.
