And that Head did, your backhanded dig doesn’t bother me mate, I believe I predicted us to win with Trav going downtown ;)

No dig intended! I was worried when Smith got out and with the way the ball was moving and Head was playing at that time, I thought it was going to be on Marnus to bat the innings and hoping others would make enough contributions around him. Up step Travis Head to play one of the best innings we'll ever see. To Marnus' credit, he played a fantastic role in supporting Head. It was a brilliant partnership to back up the effort of the bowlers and fielders in the 1st Innings.

I love the way One Day Cricket has been played in this World Cup. The batting is entertaining, but there is still great value on a wicket. Depending on the conditions - we've seen everything from low 200's to high 300's be a competitive target. The batsman are making centuries and the bowlers are taking 5fers.

Credit to Cummins and the brains trust of this Australian World Cup campaign. They got everything right.

The Ozzies end up beating every team during the tournament
Both India and Australia beat every team

Have 2 sides ever beaten every other team in a previous World Cup ?

I know him quite well. He's the PAFC WA Supporter group president, he's a ripper bloke and his son Jake was there for all of the Australian games after being there early in the year for the Test series.

SOme Indian supporters are woeful and saying some horrid things to the Australian players and their wives

One even posted that he hoped the flight on the way home blows up and they are all killed, another postd if he sees Steve Smith he will kill him, few targetting Trav head's wife as well

Talk about sore losers

With 1 and a 1/2 billion people there, there’s bound to be a few nutcases.

No worries, I did wake up a bit dusty. I too have enjoyed the way the bat hasn't dictated the tournament, I’m a huge fan of ODI cricket as I think strategy is a big key to it.

It would’ve been a struggle if Head got out for under 80, we are blessed with an array of firepower, I wonder how much Maxwell’s innings against the Afghans gave us psychological help, Marsh’s comment when he left the group for a week must have played a part too, overall it was the team that won the comp, we had many contributors and never relied on an individual.
