For ball tampering yes, for all the other charges no as no-one has really ever been charged with them before
What other charges?

Well none of them have been charged with ball tampering by CA, just a myriad of other changes relating to bringing the game into disrepute, meaning CA can do what they like

But all are intrinsically linked to ball-tampering, thus still disproportionate to precedence

There is word around that Warner has sold his story.

will be interesting to see what happens, one feels that 2 of the 3 wouldn't walk back into the Aust side anytime soon, just on their poor form in recent times, now with it appearing one is selling the story to a media outlet as well to what he call recouping what he is losing, he probably will never be considered again in anycase

Although I feel for Smith, all three of them dragged all us cricket fans into the gutter.
We are now branded as cheats... a tag that doesn't fit 400 odd other blokes who played within the spirit of the game.
They have brought the Australian game into disrepute. I couldn't care less about other countries and the penalties they've dished out.
This is Australian cricket culture, not Pakistan or England or anybody else.
Precedents start somewhere and 12 months is about right but I would restrict their playing to be only club cricket.

Omg... well I guess all those who felt they would rather lose with dignity than win with arrogance will be happy ....

Don’t blame the players for wanting to get out of there as quickly as possible!

FMD, this is worse than being rolled by the POMS in under three days at Melbourne when Botham was rooted (side strain missed the Perth test) in 86.

All three of their bowlers are at less than 100% and were going to get rolled 500 short.

Not withstanding the chaos that has gone on this tour, show some F***ing fight for F*** sake

Khawaja and Marsh are done and dusted.
Despite losing 3 players long term they should never play again for their country.

492 runs short..... almost got there

We could have another 2 innings and still fall short

A nice piece of melodrama you write. Their actions literally have no bearing on the reputation of any Australian cricketer to have played before them.

Easy to say that and while I tend to agree we simply do not have the batting depth to just give them the flick forever.

My question to everyone (not just you AF) that says certain blokes have to go is who do you replace them with? Khawaja and Marsh and head and shoulders above the next tier of Sheffield Shield batsman. Please do your research on who's next in the cue and come up with logical replacements before saying certain blokes shouldn't be selected to play for our country again.

My point is/was 400 odd other blokes didn't resort to blatant dumbass cheating!
