I worked in the shed all day and they had some English Sheila who sounded like she was nagging me but the broadcast was saved by King Kerry.

You can have all the plans you like but if you bat like muppets and bowl pies like last night chances are you will probably get rolled.

cook just isnt a one day player. they need to have someone up the order who can slap them around a bit. i do like the fact that they promoted stokes, as he has a bit of go about him usually, although he struggled last night.

luke wright would be the perfect one to replace cook at the top of the order, broad can captain them.

morgan bopara ballance buttler and the lower order look great for a one day team, almost better than australias, but their top order is poo

True, but Clarke has shown that he sets a field and tells you where to bowl. If you don't and get carted, he takes you out of the attack. Sure, the Soap Dodgers dont have the same form to flirt with, but have a plan and stick to it.

This tour could be the breaking of Cook and England need him in Test matches to be the leader making runs consistently. As such, they have to get him out of that side immediately.

I don't think the Aussies would have lost too many times against anyone this summer. England in the wrong place at the wrong time?

At 2/190 with a heap of time left and the focus England put on the last 10 overs this loomed as the game most likely to be the one the POM's notched a win. 5/216 and they're hoping the tail does something now.
