Elliott Opie outscored all but 3 batsmen with Fatty only beating him by 1 run
Maybe cant bat but showed more guts than some of them

All out for 251, lead of 192.

Disappointing back end of the innings, had we been smarter we could've easily batted until Tea.

Report this morning was Cosgrove & Head both adamant they didn't hit the ball when they got out.. perhaps unlucky if that's the case.

Throw in Raphael's run out which was poor, and that's 3 of the top 4 batsman.. things may have been different.

Interesting little period then.

35 overs, not enough to go at the runs, so just bat as you normally would except it's chasing 190 odd to win the Shield final.....so nothing normal about it.

Get them 2/30 with 15-20 overs to go today and it will be slow going from then on.

Hopefully we get a bit more luck with the ball this afternoon - those close LBW's in the first innings go our way, those half chances go to hand.. come on lads lift!

I may be wrong, but I think Sayers is fielding, so will at least try to bowl some overs.
