It's ok, he hasn't played Test cricket....therefore his opinion doesn't count. ;)

Spoke too soon...

Over 34.6: Gulbis to Ludeman, no run, OUT, bangs it in short and Ludeman goes for the pull but top edges down to Hilfenhaus lurking down at fine leg who takes an easy catch. SA 6/109 (McDonald 53, Ludeman 15)

pretty tough morning between this effot (minus Mcdonald) and the dean bailey passing. We need first innings points at the least due to WA having a better WL ratio
The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt

The match last season which was posted earlier, where we won outright after losing 1st innings, we were all out 112 and rolled them for 138..

Now 116, so if we can push 150+ then i'm confident...

25 runs partnership from just 38 balls.. starting to up the ante a bit and put pressure on Doherty!

Still have Lawford to come who we know can hit a big ball, we could quickly take all the momentum away from TAS with a good hour of batting..

Think the pitch played it's part, Bird had the ball hooping both ways and it was deckin around sharply as well.

First Over:
Over 0.6: Bird to Klinger, no run, OUT, good line and length, touch of movement away and the dangerous Klinger edges one to Cosgrove at first slip. Remarkable start from Jackson Bird. SA 2/4 (Hughes 0, Klinger 0)
Over 0.5: Bird to Klinger, no run, outside off, left alone
Over 0.4: Bird to Raphael, no run, OUT, full outside off, nips away, Raphael drives and nicks right into the safe hands of Butterworth at second slip
Over 0.3: Bird to Raphael, no run, this one holds its line outside off as Raphael leaves
Over 0.2: Bird to Raphael, no run, full, wide and some exaggerated movement away as Raphael leaves
Over 0.1: Bird to Raphael, FOUR, eventful first ball, full, swinging away and creamed in the air wide of gully to the rope
