You would think logic would say Joe is next in line being preferred as the cover for the previous Test match but this is a selection panel that just continue to defy logic.

7 of 11 players I'd be happy to stamp down for the next couple of years. There are some good pace bowling prospects waiting in the wings too (Pattinson, Cummings, Sayers).
Burns, Ferguson, Patterson I'd like to see fill spots 2,5 and 6 and Sayers as the 3rd seamer.

Where else you you play it? 2 x 3 Test Series this season and Australia only has 6 summer time Test venues. Means Sydney or Melbourne get 2 and likely to impact on their 'Traditional' slots
