Yeah it's good to watch. You feel like something could happen all the time.

We have set a terribly defensive field and they are just knocking them around for ones and two’s.
Would like to see us take it to them

The field is set like that to cut off the boundaries, if Australia had a 'normal' test match field they'd be leaking boundaries. Have to try something different to try and keep England's run rate down.

These are the most benign batting conditions i have ever seen in England.
Shit for cricket
If England dont make 600+ here it's a fail

My biggest fear is that even Warner will make runs on this lifeless shitheap and shore up his spot for the next 12 months

You keep the run rate down by taking wickets. This is way too defensive IMO. You can have a healthy mix but I reckon we have gone a bit too far

Replays show Boland had Crawley getting a nic but no appeal and not out.

We’ve been spooked

Bowled crap initially which then panicked Cummings into defensive fields….now England taken the piss on a wicket doing stuff all.

With the way England play now taking wickets won't necessarily keep the run rate down, they will continue to go hard regardless. A flat wicket like this aids their gameplay too.

Thought that was going down leg at first look. Good review by the Australians.

With a wicket and conditions like this I can't see Joe Root missing out here unless he does something stupid and throws his wicket away.

If you take 10 wickets in 40 -50 overs when they go at 5 runs and over, you’re only chasing 250, just saying

That’s why Smith shouldn’t be captain, he would’ve reviewed that

Exactly, and all of a sudden they’re on 100, could be 2/47 otherwise

Yep, throws a different mindset to the fielding team
