Warner has just undone his good work with a poor dismissal. Still the only batter that can hold his head high this series

I've booked for first 3 days of Adelaide test, hope we improve by then!

being outplayed in two tests in asia isn't exactly a crisis.

I think its the size of the losses that is worrying.
I said in the warmup game there were some bad signs and was scoffed at

Lehmanns side was almost demolished in India as well

His job is very safe but imho his selections for the two sub continent tours he has coached has been awful

Complete lack of fight by some of the batsmen is very concerning.
Australia are clueless on how to bat time when conditions are against them.
Some of the shots have been appalling.
It's as if they've conceded defeat and just going through the motions

This is the team that should be playing now

Watson
Warner
Clarke
Smith
M Marsh
Hartley
Johnson
Agar
Fawad
Zampa
Lyon

To make up the squad
Boyce
Muirhead
Logan
Maxwell[but only as the reserve wicket keeper]

Sorry Mal but when you come out at number 3 with a day abd a half to save a test and you try a reverse sweep 7 balls in your papers should be stamped "Never play for Australia again"

Stamp should be " Never play Test cricket for Australia again."
The BIG show is one of the first picked in the shorter forms though

That reverse sweep , or should I say attempted reverse sweep , is one of the most embarrassing bits of sport I've ever seen.

SHANE WATSON
As I have said before
He averages 40+ batting at the top and then bowls with an average of less than 30 per wicket
Thats a great package
Why bother with players like Alex Doolan and Glen Maxwell at 3
When the first test comes around against India , lets hope Boof and the selectors bat him in the top 3
And leave him at 3 until there is a player of similar or superior batting ability , like perhaps Mitchell Marsh or Jordan Silk if they progress

Jim who is the best number 3 Australian batsman after Don Bradman in Australian history ?

Here are 5 nominations

Clem Hill
Bill Ponsford
Ian Chappell
Ricky Ponting
Glen Maxwell

Surely you are taking the piss... He is a joke and should never play test cricket again!!!! Gee i hate Phil Hughes but he should be in the side before this bloke!!
Any bloke who gives himself a nickname can get right off!!!

Another Australian cricket myth.....Glenn Maxwell hates that nickname that was actually given to him by Victorian team mate Matthew Wade.

;)

Yes I was jiving !
They are nominations

One thing about the BIG show
If they do persevere with him at Test level , Im confident he will play a blinder eventually
But he will most likely play far many more shockers

Someone tell me that Warner really didn't clap in his Khan's face when he got out?

Haddin and johnson invent new ways to get out.

Got to really hand it to the Pakis, while it's shit for Australian cricket, this result is good for Test cricket.
