Of all the days of the week to have an ODI here Thursday is the worst day to have it in terms of people potentially going to the match or watching the match on tv given most people (adults and kids) that will have an interest in it will likely be going to their own clubs main training in the arvo/evening.

You would think so but the same could be said for Thursday Night AFL but for some reason their number crunching must suggest the Thursday timeslot works either from attendance or tv viewers.

Heard Head say on the radio this morning he's looking forward to batting with Warner at the top of the order but it means he'll "have to run fast between the wickets, which I'm not really used too".

Deadset, ill keep saying it but he's a country cricket with an amazing eye that's made it big......thats the kind of thing we will joke about at Spalding Oval when our batting lineup changes.
