Yeah I was thinking it's most likely Head or Carey to replace Finch at the top of the order eventually and Labuschagne would obviously be the batsman next in. I've wondered if Tim David has aspirations to play for Australia or is he happy playing domestic T20 cricket?

Australia have named their squad for the T20 World Cup-
Ashton Agar, Pat Cummins, Tim David, Aaron Finch (c), Josh Hazlewood, Josh Inglis, Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Kane Richardson, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stoinis, Matthew Wade, David Warner, Adam Zampa.

Tim David comes into the squad replacing Mitch Swepson, the only change to the squad that won last years WC.

So we are picking a bloke who plays in Singapore and a Captain who should have been pensioned off last year.
Pretty amateurish looking squad

Wade has been good but time for him to go as well as Finch.

Wade has been ok in T20I's of late and he literally played the innings of his life to help put Australia into last year's WC final, at 34 he doesn't look to have much international cricket left and perhaps him and Finch will retire at the end of the WC.

As for David I like his selection but probably a big call to pick him in a WC squad without playing for Aus already and he not going too well currently in the Hundred.

My mate must mix a mean cordial

KRichardson looks like a wasted selection too

I like the Tim David selection, you can't expect 50s from him, he is a 18 off 5 type of operator.
I will be back on September 27

Wade has already said he's retiring from international Cricket after the T20 World Cup

Inglis or Cary should be selected ahead of Finch, IMO
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Agreed, Labaschagne, David, Turner from WA anyone who is in form and can bat.

You'd bring Labia into the T20 side?

I'd prefer to not have two lefties open the innings, especially in T20's

Finch out for 5, his troubles against Left Arm pace continue then Smith reviews a LBW decision that hits him absolutely plumb in front lol.

So Finch has scores of 15,1,5 against a bunch of absolute minnows and looks likes his place is safe
