1st maiden of the innings bowled just now, the 47th over :shock:

Not sure the bowling has been great but some of the batting is delightful. The straight drive brook hit of southee for 6 was tremendous. Duckett was really good, kept everything simple and played good shots. I'd rather root did that to rather then to much improvisation as he's far to good for that.

Neil Wagner took his 250th test wicket (Ben Foakes) during England's innings and James Anderson has now taken a wicket in each of the last 21 calendar years.

Everyone talks about the batting of England but we have some serious bowling depth now, Robinson will be very dangerous in the upcoming ashes he is just relentless. Add to that Anderson, Broad, Wood, Stone, (woakes in england) and Archer.
