WHY did he refer that? What a tool. It was a clear edge and taken cleanly by Haddin. He would have known he edged it so why refer?
That is two obvious ones this Test that the Saffies have referred with Amla's LBW in the first dig referred also despite the fact it was plumb.

This is what I hate - players can refer just for the heck of it when they know damn well they're out. This is supposed to be a system for close, controversial calls ffs.

After last night's play I wasn't entirely convinced that we would be able to bowl them out today but this is a great result. I saw some of the highlights on the news channel and I freely admit I never thought we would win this series. I felt we would be competitive and would go down either 2-1 or 2-0. To take a 2-0 lead already in this series is IMO one of our greatest performances in recent times behind the 5-0 flogging last Ashes series.
The series is over, we're still No.1 so with a busy schedule ahead just rest anyone with more than minor niggles. I don't know how he looked tonight but I'd seriously consider resting Siddle for the final Test.
