and they picked straws for the batting order again

Yeah I just dont get the selectors.
They dropped a batter in Khawaja( deservedly so) and bring in another middle order allrounder.
To me Faulkner is just another Watto.
If we make 250 with that batting line up id be surprised

Isn't Watson injured? Faulkner for Watson? Still I think it's a stupid selection either way!

Fairo, Watto's injury cant have been as bad as 1st thought then.. must just be like a spoilt little sooky lala kid who fakes injury when he isnt happy with where he is batting
daysofourlives wrote:So because Watto presumably can't bowl (or bat) we bat Haddin at 6 and bring in essentially another bowler in Faulkner.
So we now have 4 half Test cricketers in Watson, Faulkner, Starc and Haddin. i.e none of them are good enough tor etain their position in one discipline alone.
Effectively we are playing 9 against 11 IMO

A bit unfair on Starc!

Thought they had settled on Watto middle order.
Who frucken knows anymore.
It's interesting though that they really don't know where to bat Watto.
Maybe it is time to say bye bye to him.
