Geez Sayers is bowling well. It's been talked about before, but he has to be close to an international call up. SACA finally gave him a shot and has reaped it's rewards and hopefully the national selectors do the same.

100% agree. Guys like Cowan and Voges were rewarded with a place in the test team for getting mountains of runs. Time for bowlers to be selected on the same basis, not because they're 'quick' or because they've 'got potential'.

It's slightly complicated, but it's based on the County System where runs & wickets in the first 100 overs of the first innings. Not sure if it takes the 2nd innings into account.

Don't think we will go top. Reckon we be about .7 behind as we both will get similar performance points

Tie - 3 points (irrespective of 1st innings result)
Outright loss - 0 points
Drawn/Abandoned - 1 point
Bonus Batting - 0.01 for every run above 200 in the first 100 overs of the 1st innings of each team only
Bonus Bowling - 0.5 for taking wickets 5,7,9 in the first 100 overs of the 1st innings of each team only

So we wont get bonus points for the batting, and both sides will get bonus points for the bowling.

Still 92 run lead at Tea, would think we need to knock them over reasonably quickly from here or the game could well go the other way and we would look stupid.
