Need a couple of really quick wickets or its all over. Can't afford to let Smith get away early

Disappointing for the Redbacks, Cooper and Ferg did such a good job to rebuild the innings.

I can't see them winning from here

Create your luck, Get what you deserve.

Use any clichè you like when only 2 blokes make double figures you don't deserve to win.

Given the strength of the NSW team a smashing was always on the cards. We played some very good cricket to make the final

Sorry guys but yes it was good to make the final but it seems like the same old same old from the spud backs

Dramatic batting collapses
Heavy reliance on the bowlers
Even when we make runs its the same couple of blokes every time

NSW will get them 4 down in the 32nd over. Needed at least 280-290 to try and build some pressure

30 overs and one down but good call on the 32nd. They did it in a canter.

It was a good partnership but to be honest think once they got us back in the game they never lifted the aggression to where it's needed at North sydney.

This meant the blokes down the order had to come in and try and hit at 8-9 an over from ball one to get us even close to a respectable score

Yep but I like I said once they were in they never pressed on and to be honest they were never looking to get a score that was going to be a realistic challenge to NSW

You would expect most batsmen who get a 60 odd at North Sydney to eventually get there strike rate up to a run a ball which is the minimum required on that pitch

To be honest guiding us to 220 on North Sydney would be like guiding us to 150 on any proper cricket ground
