Anyone know when the summer's test fixtures will be finalised? Now in June and nothing I can see yet.

Looks like we kick our season of against the Bulls at adelaide oval from October 21. Good thing is we have until November 3 to get a result. Only 3 home games at adelaide oval and potentially no ryobi cup games. Would love to see SACA memberships plummet!!! Hate the SACA.

Ryobi will be a tournament similar to last years. Played in the one city over 3 weeks or so.

Memberships will not decrease in cost significantly as Shield games have been free entry for a number of years.

Probably a good thing for SA, given the Adelaide Ovals inability to produce results last season, would rather see us play more games at venues that will deliver points.

so the redbacks play 3 games a season at Adelaide Oval??

Pretty lame.

Its pretty sad too that you cant watch your team play one day cricket in your own state. Imagine if you were told your AFL team were to play no home games for the entire year...that is how it feels for me...

Maybe the ryobi tournament will be held in adelaide? Otherwise I am not happy at all. We wait all winter for the redbacks season to come back and then when it does we can't even go to the games because our team has been relocated for an entire one day season. Now I know how fitzroy fans feel. This is gay.

It's not even called the Ryobi anymore. It's the Matador BBQ's Cup and is going to be played in Brisbane and Sydney

No Ryobi Cups games again. These games held in Qld and NSW
4 BB matches
5 SS matches
20/20 international against South Africa Nov 5th
Test match against India starting Dec 12th
No ODIs held in Adelaide. Sydney get 3

Oh but we get a few World Cup games and have to fork out extra cash.

Coached by a Vic
Captained by a saffer
Administrated by a tas (well before he was sanctioned)
Last test rep was from act
And we play our home games in Queensland and nsw
Why even call our matador BBQ team south australia

Does anyone know if there is a waiting list for membership anymore?
I am thinking about letting it go for this year and joining again next year if there is no waiting list.
The treatment of SACA members and South Australians in general this year by CA is a disgrace.
With a new 53 000 seat stadium i would have thought having that filled for a Aus v Eng ODI woul;d be fantastic.

If they are the best people for that position then what does it matter? :?

You used to be able to put your membership on hold for a year and pick it up again the following year. Have done this in the past, not sure if this option is still available
